The Zebra Zone

Miarestate is specially geared for active families travelling with children. The Zebra Zone is a supervised clubhouse and play centre for kids, with activity programmes that cater for all ages and interests. All programmes have been carefully designed by a qualified foundation phase teacher, to include developmental play as part of a fun-filled holiday programme.

The Zebra Zone offers an array of themed activities that range from learning traditional Xhosa games and crafts, such as beadwork and making clay animals, to exciting nature drives, guided bush walks, survival skills and an outdoor obstacle course. Making use of its glorious location, it also offers seaside activities such as beachcombing, and collecting seashells and other treasures.

On cooler days, the hotel lounge and library offer hours of entertainment with a variety of board games and puzzles. Families are invited to relax in the warmth of the open fireplace and take in the magnificent views.

After-hours child minding services are available by arrangement.
